Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This high-quality suiting fabric is an excellent choice for various sewing projects. Its particularly durable and lightweight material makes it ideal for both clothing and home textile products. 
Clothes made from this fabric wrinkle minimally and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, tablecloths, and curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: It is best to use sewing needles with a sharp point, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.
Threads: It is recommended to use polyester thread, which will provide maximum strength and elasticity.
Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds seams well, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced sewers.


Care

-Washing: Wash in a washing machine at 30°C on a gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron on a low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on a normal setting with low heat.
