SCHMETZ DPx5 LBR is an industrial lockstitch needle for sewing leather with a LBR (Wide reverse twist point) cutting point. The cut is made at approximately a 45° angle to the thread direction, and the “wide” LBR shape produces a distinctive decorative, raised stitch with a leftward slant.

✨ Why is LBR so sought after for decorative stitching?

• Lens-shaped cross-section cutting point – a clean, controlled penetration into the leather
• Stronger decorative effect (raised stitch) compared to the classic LR
