SCHMETZ DPx5 SES industrial sewing machine needles are perfectly suited for fine to medium fine knits, sportswear, and tightly woven fabrics sewn with lockstitch sewing machines. The SES or “Light Ball Point” tip is slightly rounded – it pushes the threads aside rather than piercing them, protecting the fabric from damage and creating a smooth, flexible seam.
