Šīm adatām ir noapaļots gals, kas ļauj tām viegli slīdēt starp trikotāžas šķiedrām, nesabojājot audumu. Adatu izmērs parasti ir atkarīgs no auduma biezuma, bet kokvilnas trikotāžai bieži vien piemēroti izmēri ir 70/10 vai 80/12.
