Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles. If the knit is very elastic, it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretchy fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to glide easily between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually 70/10 or 80/12.
